Taichung
Taichung in central Taiwan showed competitive results. Cloudflare achieved 4 ms median, Google at 8 ms, NextDNS at 6 ms, and Quad9 at 13 ms. HiNet DNS performed at 3 ms. Taiwan Mobile DNS averaged 9 ms. Taichung's central location gives it excellent connectivity to both Taipei and Kaohsiung.
Tainan
Tainan in southern Taiwan showed solid performance. Cloudflare averaged 6 ms median, Google at 10 ms, NextDNS at 8 ms, and Quad9 at 16 ms. HiNet DNS performed at 5 ms. Tainan benefits from fiber routes along the western corridor connecting Taipei to Kaohsiung.
